📣 ATTN: Our two local food banks (The Vale Community Centre Food Bank https://bhfood.org.uk/…/the-vale-community-centre-food-bank/ and the Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project https://bucfp.org/contact-us) are currently struggling to feed a huge increase in desperately hungry families in the area. This is why Brighton Queen’s Park Labour Party is launching our Coin Jar Appeal, where we’re asking households to donate any loose change they may have hidden away in dusty jam-jars. Your modest jar of coppers may not be much to look at (see image, below), but those pennies can soon add up when combined with other coin pots. So, if you’re happy to surrender your shrapnel – or even any unwanted foreign notes & coins – we’ll make sure every penny goes towards feeding the most vulnerable in our community.
